- Carry out various clinical laboratory tests under laid down procedures
- Keep record and write report among other things

As a medical laboratory technician, you will work under the supervision of a physician, laboratory technologist or laboratory scientist. Career opportunities do exist in both public and private sectors in:
- Hospital clinical laboratories
- Commercial or reference laboratories
- Public health laboratories

COURSE PROFILE
Entry requirement:
Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in either:
1. Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
2. National Examination Commission (NECO)
3. General Certificate of Education (GCE)
Candidates wishing to undergo this course must possess credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, at not more than two (2) sittings.
